The Village of Shorewood Hills contracts with Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc. for residential refuse and recycling pick up.

The Village updated its contract with Pellitteri on September 1, 2021 to collect both recycling and refuse weekly. That change, specific to Shorewood Hills has also changed some of the rules for additional recycling that doesn't fit into your cart. Go to:

Please Help Us Fill Local Food Pantry Shelves for the Holidays

The holiday season is upon us, and Pellitteri is fundraising for its annual ThanksGIVING Back program to collect donations for local food pantries. Pellitteri need the Village’s help!

Last year, Pellitteri raised just over $14,000 between the virtual drive, employee events and corporate donation. For every $10 raised, Second Harvest can provide up to $25 in groceries to those in need.
