Administrative Assistant

Position Summary
The Village of Shorewood Hills (population 2139) is seeking applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant. Shorewood Hills is a highly desirable community that is an inner ring suburb of Madison, Wisconsin’s capital city. Shorewood Hills is a welcoming and inclusive full-service community that prides itself on being a wonderful place to live, work, play, learn, and visit. The Administrative Assistant serves as the office receptionist and is the primary point of contact for the public. The duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with accounts receivable, cash receipting, mail routing, animal licensing, meetings/committee support and park/facility reservations. In addition, this position provides support to the administrative staff.

Education, Experience and Benefits
Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Business, Public Administration, Accounting-related field -or- a high school diploma and two (2) years of relevant work experience. Limited evening work is required. Hourly wage rate for this position ranges from $20.90 – $28.31 DOQ. The Village provides excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, STD, LTD, and Life Insurance, as well as participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System.
